Give useful feedback when files are missing, changes do not appear, or the task drifts.

AFTER READING, YOU CAN

Describe a problem clearly enough to guide the next revision.

01Cannot find the generated files

Ask for the full working directory and the full paths of files created or edited in this task. Compare them with your file manager rather than relying on folder names alone.

02The page will not open, or changes are missing

Record the file path or preview URL. Refresh and confirm you are viewing the latest file. If you use a local server, check that it is running.

Share the browser error text and what you already tried. Remove private paths or parameters before sharing diagnostic details with others.

03The result is drifting

Return to the original acceptance criteria and identify what must stay and what must change.

A PROMPT YOU CAN USE
Pause new features. The core goal is still a personal introduction page. Keep the current bio and interests, and fix only the project section layout on mobile. List the changed files and recheck the original acceptance criteria.

04A useful problem report

This template reduces guesswork; it does not guarantee that every problem can be resolved in one attempt.

A PROMPT YOU CAN USE
My goal:
What actually happened:
Where it happened (file or page):
What I already tried:
Relevant error text (redacted):
What must remain unchanged:
BEFORE YOU GO

Before you move on
